dates and times for the Panache Paper-Piecers meeting the second
Saturday of each month.

Come and join the peppy Panache Paper Piecers,
hosted by Merle Stensrud. 2010 features Brenda Henning’s book of
Mariner Compass quilts “Reach for the Stars” . Each month the group
will complete a portion of the Mariner Compass Homeward Bound (72 x
72) quilt pictured here. Merle works ahead of the group and guides you
through the steps to completing this stunning quilt before year’s end.

a new 2010 project, “Green Piece” pictured here. Each month
there are two pieced blocks and two optional bonus wool
appliqué blocks in this 76” x 76” quilt. You are not
required to do the project to join Moda U.
Carmen leads the group, shows you the latest fabric
collections, charm packs, jelly rolls, patterns, and
products. Of course, there are always treats and
refreshments. Bring show and tell, attend, celebrate a
birthday or bring treats and earn Moda Moolah to be spent on
the special shopping day December 11th.

Speedy Needle
Embroidery Club |
The Calico Hutch is introducing the Speedy
Needle Embroidery Club for embroidery enthusiasts and we invite
you to join the new club!
Bonnie Felt and Janet Hintermeister will share ideas and
embroidery techniques and answer questions you may have about
the embroidery process. New Christmas collections and Embroidery
Take-Out patterns (in file formats for all embroidery machines)
will be at the store soon.
The first Speedy Needle Embroidery Club will meet Saturday,
October 23, November 6 and December 18 from 10-12. Subsequent
meetings will be at the same time on the third Saturday of each
month immediately following the block of the month. Call or stop
in the store to register. The cost is $10 for six months. We
won’t be sewing during the club meetings but will arrange for
periodic embroidery sewing get-togethers. Mark your calendars
for this fun-filled session. If you have any questions, please
